Alnet camouflage nets are made to rigorous requirements for specific terrains, ground cover weaponry and size requisites. Colours and disruptive patterns are developed after careful research and spectral data analysis of the environment within the region of application.

Application Choice

While Alnet has always specialised in 3-D camouflage, they have also developed 2-D capability to meet specific customer requirements. The commencement of an aggressive R & D program has focussed on offering a range of products which fulfil different cost-benefit profiles.

Visual and Near Infra Red camouflage are standard to the Alnet range. Their 3-D and 2-D range covers customer-specific requirements relating to:

• Rapid deployment nets
• Tent and mobile facility covers
• Personnel screens

These functional products are manufactured to exacting standards, using a combination of high quality, durable raw materials, including polyamides, polyesters. polyurethanes and a range of specialist additives, which includes fire and UV resistance. Research & Development

To meet ever-changing demands in the art of concealment and deception, Alnet engineers are developing and testing new advanced materials and designs in both laboratory and field environments.

Strategic partnering and R & D testing has focussed on a new camouflage product with full multi-spectral signature reduction, including non-polarisation, broad-band, radar detection.

The emphasis has centred around lightweight camouflaging that achieves protection from sensors working in all relevant parts of the electromagnetic spectrum.
